As the Lord had me doing the news He showed me a story titled, "U.S. Christians Absolutely Not Prepared For Persecution." The story had the words of the found of Gospel for Asia speaking of persecution increasing worldwide, and saying he believes it will soon impact American believers also.
PEOPLE ARE DYING FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOSPEL. But that is NOT the norm here in America. It WILL BE - but Americans will NOT BE READY, because most do not preach Christ crucifed; most do not preach embracing the cross and dying to self.
One thing this person pointed out is that which the Lord has been speaking through me for years: that while so many (especially famous) preachers are speaking to the multitudes about love and prosperity and revival, that everything is OK and painting a rosy picture, they are setting up the Western church for disaster, even then denying their faith when righteous judgment comes because most will not be prepared, saying "That's not God...". Their hearts will WAX COLD because they will be privileged enough to be called upon to suffer FOR HIS GLORY but instead it will OFFEND THEM. HOW many Christian books or movies have YOU READ that talk about SUFFERING, dying to self, walking the crucified life? Not many - because His truths OFFEND. There are so many who are only just now finding out about the Bride and Song of Songs, etc (and while it is a blessing that they are FINALLY HEARING IT they are DULL IN HEARING because there are moves and flows of Holy Spirit and they are BEHIND the flow...they are hearing LATE and will continue to MISS IT if they do not humble themselves and surrender their lives and submit their hearing to truly hear what the Spirit saith) and are now stuck in this 'lovey dovey phase' - but it is UNBALANCED because YES JESUS IS LOVE BUT HE IS ALSO RULER OF ALL THINGS! They are living in a world WITHOUT HIM as THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT JUDGE OF ALL THINGS. He IS THE God of Love - in fact He IS LOVE - He is the definition of LOVE - but you cannot think that love means NO CONFLICT, NO WILDERNESS, NO TRIALS. "WOE UNTO YOU WHO TAKE PART OF ME AND NOT ALL OF ME" SAITH THE MOST HIGH GOD...ABBA FATHER, LOVER OF YOUR SOUL AND RIGHTEOUS JUDGE OF ALL THINGS. His love UNDOES me - I bask in His presence, I dwell at His feet. Nothing and no one can take our love away from one another, He and I - and that NEVER GOES OUT OF SEASON OR IS FOR A DIFFERENT PLACE AND TIME - it is NOW and it is ETERNAL. But brethern He is speaking of the FLOW OF HIS SPIRIT - the MOVES OF HIS SPIRIT - the flow and ebb - it is living and moving, and there are times and seasons! But I LOVE HIM AS JUDGE. I LOVE HIM AS TRUTH. I LOVE HIM AS ADONAI ELOHIM. I LOVE HIM AS THE GREAT I AM. Not part of Him - ALL OF HIM.
DO YOU HAVE EARS TO HEAR?
JUDGMENT IS COMING!
The dispensation of grace is ALMOST OVER!
Oh how long has He had His messengers SPEAKING OF THAT WHICH IS ABOUT TO BE UNLEASHED.
AMERICA has had it TOO EASY.
AMERICA DOESN'T KNOW HIM AS RIGHTEOUS JUDGE - AMERICA KNOWS HIM AS THEIR SUGAR DADDY!
Gimme gimme gimme - like spoiled children - who think a big house, nice car, vacations, and a mega church are GIFTS FROM THE LORD! That heaven on earth is in THINGS and material possessions instead of HIM BEING THE GIFT OF ALL GIFTS - THE ULTIMATE TREASURE BEYOND MEASURE! WOE unto you who are soft and living a life of happy happy happy joy joy joy...who live in self and flesh and world and pride and compromise and affluence and anti-christ and not surrender, not obedience, not submission, not death, not humility.
TRULY AMERICAN CHRISTIANS ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE THAT WHICH IS ABOUT TO BE UNLEASHED.
HAVE YOU COUNTED THE COST?
ARE YOU READY?
CAN YOU STAND BECAUSE YOU HAVE NEVER TAKEN YOUR EYES OFF THE PRIZE WHICH IS CHRIST JESUS CRUCIFIED?
IS HE YOUR FIRM FOUNDATION?
ARE YOU ABLE TO BE HIS STRONG TOWER WHEN THE MASSES AROUND YOU RUN HELTER-SKELTER IN FEAR BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN TAUGHT A WATERED-DOWN GOSPEL THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TRUTH?
