We did not go any where today as it rained most of the day. |

We stayed at home all day as it looked very rainy and the |
wind blew terrible. |
Saturday, July 04, 1903 |
I spent the day at West Fork, Western Oregon, among the |
mountains. It was dull and cloudy and so cold we had a fire to |
keep warm. |
Monday, July 04, 1904 |
Went to Silver Lake from my claim. It rained during the day |
and every one got wet while watching the horse race. The fire |
works were a failure. |
Tuesday, July 04, 1905 |
Worked all day at Porters saw mill near Silver Lake Oregon a |
very hot day. |
Wednesday, July 04, 1906 |
We stayed at home at Mc Mannary's saw mill near Kalispell |
Montana, a very hot day. |
Thursday, July 04, 1907 |
We went to Kalispell for the picnic and Mary & Will and |
children came from Seattle. |
Saturday, July 04, 1908 |
We spent this day at home in Eureka Mont. The girls took |
part in the parade. |
Sunday, July 04, 1909 |
We also spent this day at home. |
Monday, July 04, 1910 |
I estimated a claim walked 6 miles and back. Put in 16 |
hours, a hard day. Made $10.00. |
Tuesday, July 04, 1911 |
Spent at home - also July 4/12 and July 4, 1913 and July 4, |
1914 - all at home. July 4/15 I think we went down to Mothers |
- 1916 - went to a ball game at Eureka fair grounds. 1917 to |
a picnic out at Tario Lake - 1918 went to Glen Lake a little |
picnic. 1919 Home alone ?? into the garden - children went |
to Tario 1920 a ?? at Woodman Colo. went to a picnic July 4 |
-1921 Home alone. July -4-1922 alone all day children all in |
the west. |
