We broke camp at the saw mill. Snow got so deep we had to |
quit. - 4 ft. |

I started for Minn. and walked 46 miles. Stopped at Kalispel |
with Jim & Lou three days with Hilda and Raibe at Fort |
Benton 4 days. Got home Feb. 15 at 7 P.M> to Manda and |
the children once more. This is the longest I was away from |
them. |
Tuesday, March 27, 1906 |
I started to Walla Walla Was to be a forest ranger for the |
government. Got there April 1 but did not like the job so I |
started back to Kalispel Mont April 3 and got there the 4. |
Went out to Jim's was there about a week. Then bought out |
Stevens boarding house and sent for Manda. She got here |
April 25 and we moved in and commenced work on the 26 of |
April 1906. |

We moved to Eureka Mont. and took charge of a rooming |
house. |
