This is a cold cloudy day. It seems so lonesome don't know |
any one here. I wrote two letters today one to Sister Kate and |

This is memorial day. The sons of veterans and the D.A.R. |
marched through the streets. I will join the Sons of Veterans |
some time. They looked so nice marching along all in |
uniform and their muskets shown in the sun. In the evening I |
went to see a drama called the Spy of Atlanta. It was very |
good. It was got up by the Sons of Veterans of Northfield. |
