I gave an exhibition at Forreston did not make much, only |
cleared expenses. |

I am 25 years old today and I intended to give an exhibition at |
Milaca but did not get the church as they promised me so |
had to come home. Ah! Well such is life. Trials and |
disappointments at every turn. |
Friday, November 06, 1891 |
Ralph, Joe & I moved up to our hunting camp and I killed a |
big buck that came running by. |
Monday, November 09, 1891 |
Came down home and heard that Myrtle had went to a dance |
with Johnie Brakefield. Well I don't think I will go with her any |
more for every time my back is turned she goes with some |
one else. |
Thursday, November 26, 1891 |
Thanksgiving day. Ralph, Joe & I came down from our |
hunting camp and went to a dance at Oak Park. I took Myrtle. |
J. B. tried to get her away from me. Well he can have her in |
a little while longer. I do not want a girl that will run with every |
"ho bo" that comes along. and one that I can not depend on. |
Tuesday, December 01, 1891 |
This is the last day of our hunt in our camp. I saw a chipmunk |
and killed a snake. |
