Wednesday, February 07, 1894

I went out the St. Cloud Minn. went in to Charley's and stayed

two nights got acquainted with Miss Lena Warner. Went to

Sauk Rapids and paid my taxes the 8th. Came home the 9th.

Sunday, March 25, 1894

Joe & I went out hunting wolves and I killed a two year old

deer.

Friday, April 13, 1894

I went up to see Manda Check. Have been to see her several

times but don't know if I will go any more or not.

Wednesday, April 25, 1894

Sister Mary went up to Aitken Co. to teach school. I took her

down almost to Foley. & Will Gutherie took her from there to

St. Cloud.

Tuesday, May 01, 1894

The grass is about six inches high. Times are awful dull the

strike on the G. N. R. R. has stopped all trains running for over

two weeks haven't had any mail since April 15.

The only real dance I

I went to a little dance at Oak Park. the first one I have been

ever took her to she

to for a year and a half. Had Manda Check for a partner. We

had a nice time. there was a terrible storm came up and we
