Bro Joe went back to Barnesville to work again. We were

sorry to see him go as he did not look well and hated to leave

home.

Wednesday, December 01, 1897

Sister Mary came home with little George. We had not saw

her for almost a year. She had not changed any but Geo. had

grown so large that we could hardly believe it was the baby

she had the last time she was here.

Tuesday, December 14, 1897

Sister Mary and Georgie went away today. They start for

Washington tonight. I went to St. Cloud with them and saw

them safe on the train. Mary did hate to leave home so bad. I

could hardly part with them but I hope they can better

themselves out there.

Bro. Jim started of Dakota to harvest. This is the first time
