Week 4
Frames from Preset Shapes
The frame from the tutorial.
Image taken from own Master Clips CD.
Name of artwork unknown to me.
This is my grandson Boudi, aged 3years.
The blue part of the frame was done by starting with blue lines, texture --> soft plastic. The red is texture --> rocks at 200% x 2
I tried to get a tortoiseshell effect with this frame.
Using a soft taupe for fill, I applied texture --> terrain and used illumination effect --> lights, to get the effect I wanted on the background.
Image taken from own Master Clips CD.
Name of artwork unknown to me.
Here's Boudi again being cheeky!
This frame was done by using artistic effect --> coloured foil on the square shapes and straw wall texture on the background part of the frame.
And one more, because I wanted to see if I could take what was in my head and make it happen.....I started with a preset heart shape, copied and rotated as for the tutorial. I then deleted the inner lines. I used a stained glass fill from another tutorial (Stained glass effect) to fill the outer loops of the frame, texturised the frame using "granite", and added the silver sculpture effect. The back ground of the frame was done by applying the smooth plastic texture and silver sculpture.
