Bounds Family's Coat of Arms
by Sara - Dec '99

This was a 3rd grade assignement for Sara. To create our 'coat of arms'. She then had to describe it. Her words follow:

This [YES] means that my mom LOVES YES. She has so for most of her life. Now everyone in the family likes Yes. There are two Yes logos, one is almost connected, the other is kind of split. My family has all gone to concerts except my little sister, Amy.

This means my dad and Grandpa were in the Air Force. My Grandpa moved all over the place for the Air Force. My dad was born in Africa because of it. My dad did it in Nebraska for 4 years (the whole time he was in it). My Grandpa did it for about 20-25 years.

This is the cross of the Nativity of our Lord church. The top row (bar) is where people put "King of the Jews". The middle bar (row) is where Jesus put his arms. The last (bottom) one is diagonal because it was straight and Jesus was pumping up and down, one second before he died he bent it. It is very special to us. We like our church. Do you like your church?

My mom and Dad like computers. My Dad works for a computer company. My Mom used to. I've grown up with a computer. Our computer is kind of part of our family. I've grown up with a Mac so I'm not use to Windows! I like it so much that when most kids (Ms. Ginolfi's) are playing Gameboy I am probably on the computer.
