Hi! Welcome to my page on diabetes. We recently found out that my husband has diabetes. Diabetes runs in his family and also in mine. There are alot of places on the net that have very good information on diabetes. If you even suspect that you might have diabetes PLEASE see your doctor or have your sugar checked somewhere. It is certainly nothing to play with!

Diabetes.com One of my favorites. I learned so much from this site. Especially good for the newly diagnosed.

For my husband the symptoms were extreme thirst, excessive craving for sweets, but the WORST was a terrible personality change. There are so many symptoms though that it is best to be aware of them so you will be informed and less likely to let this terrible disease go too far. And remember, the recipes that are listed on some of these pages are good for all of us, not just for diabetics. If you have diabetes, my prayers are with you. If you don't have diabetes, please be informed because you never know when a friend or loved one may be stricken with this disease.
