The Burning Candle

A flicker of light from the candle, as it tries to stay lit.
The same feeling in my heart, and it feels like a bottomless pit.
The candle cannot control itself, but my heart is trying to
Heal with fun and laughs. I wish our love could renew.

A cold wind blows, the candle flickers again, it strives to hold
on to life as I attempt to feel your love for me. More feelings untold.
The candle regains it's life again but is it futile can it stay alive?
Is this the kind of love we share, at night it's for your love I cry.

It's a happy ending, the candle dosen't die. It goes out for a second
then relights. It's glow is for all to see, like a rock dropped in a pond.
Our love has fickered, but not died, I have no doubt.
While it flickers, I'll try not to pout.

Here's hoping that our candle will burn forever.
I'm wishing you luck in all you endever.
But in your life, don't leave me behind.
We were each other's greatest find.
