M E M O R I ES

I remember it so well.

The day you told me to go to hell.

You screamed and raged

Like a wild cat caged.

Your claws ripped deep into my heart.

And ripped my very soul apart.

While you cared for me naught.

It was only your love I sought.

Here I lie, my heart only sustaining life.

Torn to shreds by such strife.

All I want to hear is your comforting voice.

Though, that is no longer my choice.

The death of my heart came quickly.

For there was no time to be sickly.

Your lack of mercy and compassion

Surpassed only by your lack of ration.
