In the African American Community, the concept of the Strong Black Woman is revered.

Oprah is my personal role model. To me, she epitomizes the concept of a "Strong Black Woman". When faced with adversity, Oprah uses it as an opportunity to grow and learn. She realizes that she is in a position to make a positive contribution to society and encourages others to do the same.
