Discoveries...yes, that's right, our young ladies were hard at work with scientific experiments in the middle of the woods! The Brownie Units earned the ...... Try-It by making crystals from charcol, an attempt at bubble solution, mixing household items to see their chemical reactions,

The Junior Units earned the Science Sluth badge by.....

Unfortunately, the pool was closed due to renovation. However, it was unseasonably cool for the third week of June, so we didn't mind so much.

At the end of the week, a Lorain County Metroparks Naturalist and former Girl Scout talked to us about the animals which live in the woods, and their habitats.

After all of that, can you believe there was actually time for crafts and kapers?! Whew! What a week!

Thanks to everyone who helped out, especially the volunteer parents and scouts!
