There are many different types of Obsidian such as Apache Tear, Rainbow, Red, and Snowflake. The stone is a lustrous volcanic glass. Since it comes from the depths of the earth it provides a connection from the base of the spine to the heart of the earth. Leaves you feeling grounded. Banishes negativity and provides protection.
~Peridot-
This stone helps one to understand changes taking place and also helps to recognize unhealthy patterns in ones life. Helps to regulate cycles (mental, emotional, physical). After cleansing the chakras wear Peridot for protection against outside influences that affect the cleansed and balanced chakras.
~Quartz Crystal-
Quartz is a "stone of power and harmony". It aplifies both body energy and thoughts. Whether Crystal is worn, carried, or placed in your environment, the force, warmth, and brilliance remain attuned to the energy of the one whom it is connected. Can be used to clear and activate all of the chakras and to banish negativity from the body. This is definatly a healing stone. ~Rose Quartz-
This type of quartz is a soothing stone. Often called a stone of love. The beautiful pink color of Rose Quartz has a calming effect that works on all of the chakras, especially the upper four. It gently removes negativity and reinstates self-love. It is very effective in healing the emotional body and emotional wounds.
~Ruby-
This wonderful mineral is known as a stone of nobility. It stimulates the heart chakra and assists one with selecting and attaining ones life values. The energy of the ruby is intense and encourages one to follow bliss. Also promotes creativity and aids in protection.
~Selenite-
This mineral provides clarity of the mind, making one aware of the self and ones surroundings. It can be used to access past-lives. It has been used to align the spinal column, remove energy blockages, and smooth the flow of energy. Said to extend ones lifespan.
~Smokey Quartz-
This is a form of quartz ranging from smokey grey to almost black in color. The energy of this mineral is grounding and balancing. Works very well on the solar plexus chakra (to remove any congestion or blockages from organs in this area) and at the chakras in the hands and feet. Dissolves negative energy and emotional blockages. Lends a vibrating energy when meditating.
~Sodalite-
This is another of my favorites! This mineral can be used to enchance truthfulness of emotions. It allows one to recognize and verbalize ones true feelings. Using on the throat chakra is great for people who have a hard time expressing themselves and communicating with others.
~Sugilite-
This is a great stone! It has a beautiful deep purple color. Often called the "stone of love for this age". The energy of Sugilite flows from the crown to base chakras, opening them all and providing a path for the Kundalini(the energy of the chakras). Put it on the third-eye and let it take away feelings of despair. Promotes creativity and lets one recognize the connection between well-being of body and well-being of the mind.
