Member, Lee Juckett, won a 1st place ribbon
for her quilt titled "Flower Garden"
at the Palm Beach County Quilters' Guild show in 1997.
The category for this lovely quilt was Large Pieced.

Elaine Kahn, won a Judge's Recognition Award
at the Misty Mountain Quilters' Guild held in
Young Harris, Ga. in 1997. Her quilt, "Dad's Shirts and Ties"
is based on a pattern by Nancy Graves of Manhattan, KA.

In November 1997, the Palm Beach County Quilters' Guild held
their bi-annual quilt show called "Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow".
The following members won awards at that show.

Kathy Stubbs Ward won 1st Place in small quilts
applique/mix and Best Overall Design.

Peggy Montesano, won an Honorable Mention
with her quilt "Hooray".
The category was in small Applique & Mixed Techniques
where she won 2nd Place.

Barbara Stewart, past President of the Guild,
had several wins at the Bartow Quilt Show held
April 3,4,5, 1998. Barbara won a 2nd and 3rd place ribbon
for 2 of her miniature quilts "Celtic" and "9 Patch".
