at the Misty Mountain Quilters' Guild

In November 1997, the Palm Beach County Quilters' Guild held
their bi-annual quilt show
called "Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow".
The following members won awards at that show.
Kathy Stubbs Ward won 1st Place in small quilts
applique/mix and Best Overall Design.
Peggy Montesano, won an Honorable Mention
with her quilt "Hooray".
The category was in
small Applique & Mixed Techniques
where she won 2nd Place.

Barbara Stewart, past President of the Guild,
had several wins
at the Bartow Quilt Show held
April 3,4,5, 1998. Barbara won a 2nd and 3rd place ribbon
for 2 of her
miniature quilts "Celtic" and "9 Patch".
Kathy Ward has won a 1st place ribbon for her
wall quilt at the same show.
Sharon King won a 2nd Place Award in Small Pieced Category
as well as
an Honorable Mention in Innovative Piecing at
Quiltfest- Ocean Waves Chapter
show held April 3/4, 1998.
Honorable Mention for Innovative piecing
also went to Barbara Stewart at the same show.

Barbara Stewart won 3rd place in Pictorial
at 1998 "miniatures from the Heart"contest
for her 6"x 9" quilt sponsored by Miniature Quilt Magazine.
