MERRY MEET!
Many years ago, a dear friend of mine came to me and told me that she was Wiccan. I struggled for a while to understand what she was saying to me, and finaly decided that I would have to study the Wiccan religion to really grasp what she was saying. Here I am, all these years later, and much to my family's disgust, I have adopted some of those Wiccan ways. The Wiccan religion is actually a very nice one. It has nothing to do with Satan worship like so many people seem to believe that it is. The Wiccan community does not on a regular basis go out and bewitch the neighbors cow.
For those who are seeking to learn more about the Wiccan religion, I highly recommend that you purchase these books: Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft by Raymond Buckland. The ISBN number is 0-87542-050-8 this is a great resource for anyone who wants to learn. And To Ride a Silver Broomstick New Generaton Witchcraft by Silver RavenWolf. This is an excellent book!
Another great source of information is just about anything written by Scott Cunningham. He writes for Llewellyn's Magical Almanac, and has a vast array of books. Good stuff! I recommend that you get those also.
These books can usually be found in the New Age section of your local bookstore. Some stores are better equipped than others are. If you can, choose a larger chain bookstore.
