Ekaterina is known as half of the greatest pairs team ever. Skating with Sergei, she was on top of the world. She had everything, a wonderful husband, a beautiful daughter, and a top notch skating career. Then her perfect world came crashing down around her when Sergei died at age 28. Slowly she got back on her feet and started agin.
Katia, as she is know as by her friends, started skating again, and proved herself to be a worthy solo skater. Her beautiful programs and elegant lines that she showcases on Stars on Ice are more wonderful than anyone could have imagined. With Sergei looking down at her from Heaven, she skates.
