Late Night (1 AM)
Sorry I've not written in a few days... Jev and I had a couple rough nights, and then last night I just got caught up trying to clean up my desk and a bit of my room. The desk is in pretty good shape now, but the rest of my room still needs major help.
I've been running on empty this past week or so. Things have just been a little stressful, and Jev's been worrying about his financial situation, and I juist haven't had enough sleep, or even rest. So today, with Mom gone up to Iowa, and Jev to Maryland for another on-site interview, I thought I'd rest up and relax some.
I did, actually; I spent quite a bit of time goofing off and playing Spider Solitaire and Creatures 2 on the computer, and reading some of Melanie Rawn's book, Sunrunner's Fire. But I also managed to do dishes, catch up on my finances (the VISA bill came today... ugh!), do some organizing of information, after weeding out all the stuff on my desk yesterday, and I even made myself a decent dinner. I was going to bake cookies (from a mix), but I'd spent enough time on my feet already, that I really didn't feel up to it.
Mom got home around five, and Jev called around eight. He gave me the number to call him back, and we talked about 45 minutes. He doesn't seem to think this company will have a job that really appeals to him open, but he'll find out more about that tomorrow. Even if this one doesn't pan out, he's still got a nice offer down in North Carolina, and another company down there has invited him for a visit over Thanksgiving break.
It's felt like Saturday all day to me. Not once did it cross my mind that it was Friday the 13th, which is good, since Jev left early this morning, and I didn't hear from him for more than twelve hours. Addicted to him? Not me! *wink*
Anyway, sorry this is rather short, but it's way past my bedtime again (what else is new?), and I"m gonna turn out the light and catch up on some more Zzzzzzzzzzzz
