Some more of Dublin and environs

This is kind of cool - Jurjen of course, and the Gravity Bar, and Sharifa is looking at a flyer which shows the Gravity bar at night.
Jurjen likes to follow along on maps and even had his compass with him this time. Jen Simonds had christened him "NavBoy" on our trip to Roma last year, and this name came up again on this trip. He does well though, and the gods of public transport smile upon him.
You could put up a card to commemorate your visit. I came up with the idea for what to write, and Jurjen wrote it: "A Dutchman, a Swede, and an American walked into the Guinness Storehouse and the guy at the desk said, 'Is this some sort of joke?'" And I drew little flags for each of us and we signed and put the date.
Looking up. The Storehouse is 7 stories high.
One evening we had a lovely Indian dinner in Blackrock and walked back to Dun Laoghaire (pronounced Dun Leary) from there, along the beach (the tide was out).
Steve, Sharifa and Jurjen as we stroll.
Looking across Dublin Bay towards Howth.
Behind me is a Martello Tower; there are loads of them on the coast. These were fake ones, copies of really fortified ones in the UK, to scare the French away in the Napoleonic era.
That's Dun Laoghaire ahead of us.
