Self and Forum.
Hi everyone,
Just when you thought it was safe! I'm coming home for a visit, and bringing Jurjen. We're coming to the States for just about the whole month of August!
We're flying in and out of Seattle, arriving Friday August 3rd (yes that's NEXT FRIDAY) and departing August 31st. We will spend some time in California as well as the Seattle area, and have a few road trips planned.
This is a couple of weeks earlier than I was planning on, but my health has gotten a bit sketchy, probably just stress-related (and my thyroid got wacked again) so I talked to my management and decided to get going. Also, Jurjen made the decision to quit his job, which was getting him down (he really believes in what the Tribunal is doing, however being a temporary worker on 3-month contracts for over three years would grind on anyone). A nice long visit home is just what I need, and of course Jurjen is very excited to see the States for the first time, and meet everyone.
I can very well understand if people are busy, have trips planned, et cetera. Let me know about schedule issues. Also, we can probably use a couple of spare places to stay, due to family schedules, so if anyone can spare us some floor and blankets at some point, do let me know. And if we can all have a big get-together somewhere, so much the better!
