Statement
The idea for this page began long ago. I had done a page about a subject close to my
heart...child abuse. But it seemed that so many things went along with it that the page
was going to be huge! If you are or were abused there are so many other things that you
can follow along with. You might be depressed or have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
You may end up in a violent marriage. I also could not ignore the other violent acts in our
society such as murder and rape. So that is why this page is here.
I offer it to you, my friends, not just as an informative site, but also as a sanctuary. It is
my goal not only to educate but also to provide support and other resources to you.
So please...
Let's Stop The Silence that is so often associated with violence

Tell the world the painful truth
tell those who listen, those who don't,
tell the world to face the facts
we won't be silenced anymore.

Child
Abuse
This is where it all started. Please visit this page for important information and resources
for the abused child and the survivors. It is very important that this subject be talked about
openly and honestly. The children are our future...if the violence is to be stopped, we
must stop it with them
>Domestic Violence
Domestic violence - Violence In the home not only causes bruises and cuts but also broken hearts and lost dreams. I know I grew up in a home like this and then I married inot this kind of lifestyle. I still can see the ahunting eyes of my daughter peeking out of the room to see if mommy is okay. Please let's no let another person die, or another little heart be broken
Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder
This can be the end result of even a single instance of abuse. Please read this page to
learn what you can do to begin to heal or help another to heal
Rape
1 in 4 woman will be raped in their lifetime. Rape is a crime too often mistaken as sexual
in nature. It's not! Rape is violent act that will change a woman's life forever.
