Welcome

To those of you who have visited my site and left your calling card with your wonderful comments and how you enjoyed your visit, I sincerely thank you. You have encouraged me to forge ahead. I thank you for your constructive critism, and I'm glad that my site has touched you in some way.

What I have gotten very tired of is the endless "anonymous" guests who have felt the need to constantly whine about everything - people who don't have the guts to sign their name but offer all kinds of advice or changes. I've had visitors who don't like the music, don't like the graphics, don't like my opinions on something, and somehow think I will enjoy pornographic entries in my book.

I am saddened by the lack of respect on the web. My website is my "home" on the web, and I would never visit another person's site and then leave suggestions for improvement in their guestbook. Would you visit someone's home and proceed to inform them that you didn't like their taste in colors, their taste in art, their taste in table settings, their taste in music, etc.? Would you sign a wedding guestbook, "Gee, loved your ceremony, but your dress was really ugly and made you look fat?". I think not. Just because something is not done the way you like it doesn't mean it's wrong.

So what's the word for today? R-E-S-P-E-C-T, people. Live and let live. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Dance with life, but if someone is dancing a different step than you are, unless they're stepping on your toes, leave them alone. Respect each other's individuality. If everyone was the same, what a boring world it would be!
