Who Is Lady Laurel? Laurie Latin/Angelo Saxon for "victoriously crowned with Laurels" Okay . . . a little bit about me. I am the oldest child and only daughter of Marilyn and Philip Tidd, and I was born and raised in Houlton, Maine (guess that would make me a Maine-iac! ~giggle~). Graduated from Houlton High School in 1975 (yeah, yeah, I know. Many moons ago.), and then graduated from Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute (now NMTC) in 1977 and made a lot of great friends there. I also had my first and only child, Corey, in 1977. My favorite things include Anne of Green Gables, Winnie the Pooh, Elmo, Victoriana, pets, reading, walking, shopping, travel, movies, Disney, penfriends, and the Internet! I also love figure skating competition. My absolute all-time favorite is Scott Hamilton. Other favorites are Paul Wylie, Kurt Browning, Scott Davis (I give him a perfect 6.0 just for those eyes!), and Todd Eldredge. My all-time favorite female skater is Ekaterina Gordeeva. Instead of creating a separate figure skating page, I found one link that lists information on almost every skater currently in competition. If you'd like to check it out, click here! I ~really~ love music and have a broad range of interests from country to classical and almost everything in between! My most favorite artists are: Elton John (Yay! And the Crowd Goes Wild!), Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Stevie Nicks, Steve Perry & Journey, and Enya Others I like are Kenny Loggins, Jon Secada, Yanni (yes, I like Yanni!), Steve Miller Band, Ace of Base, Enigma, Toni Braxton, Tuesday's Child, Point of Grace, Sierra, Bruce Hornsby, Bette Midler, the classics . . . and the list goes on. I am also a TV-aholic, but that has gotten better since I became a Creative Memories Consultant in July of 2000. If you are not your family's photo historian, please visit their site and learn more about preserving your heritage!!! There is no better legacy you can leave your family! As you can tell, this is my passion!! I have a lot of ideas for my page that I have to gather together and get organized, so please stop by often. I've got my recipes page up and running, so please be sure and visit that! Lots of goodies! Lots of great cooking links, too! Additions to this page will be made frequently as I learn more and have free time to work on it, so please drop by again. I LOVE company! Things I feel strongly about . . . Adorable graphics on this paged designed by You are listening to Morning Has Broken from Marvelicious Midis
