The following poem was written by me, not long after I found my Inner Child.

It was written about her, for her, and because of her.

Without her I would not be whole!

WE ARE LIKE ONE

Once I thought we had it all, all that life could give--

a home, a car, the food to eat, each other in a time of need.

But now I know what was missing--

gone from our lives-- you my dear.

I've loved you since I can't remember.

I'll love you, dear, forever,

you're a part of my life.

you give me hope to go on.

you help me feel needed, give me a place to belong.

you force me to look at my life -- right or wrong.

You make it impossible to choose the wrong path

for when I see your bright shining eyes

and your smile of love,

all I want is to take you with me to our home up above.

I smile when you smile, I cry when you cry.

We are like one -- my child and I.

   I think of you

When I'm down and feeling sad, and think nothing can get worse,

I think of you.

Compaired to all you have gone thorough, my pain seams so small,

you've been hurt in way's I'll never know.

If I could help in anyway, a friendly hello, a welcome smile,

someone to listen if just for a while,

How can I help, please tell me now.

Oh, I see your helping me.
