I was all alone it seemed
Walking through the park
You suddenly appeared to me
A candle in the dark
And though your flame attracted me
I tried to fight the fall
But your passion and your warmth
Made it past my protective wall
And now I can't care any more
Than I already do
Bare my heart and soul
Give my love to you
But you take what I offer
And keep it for yourself
Put it in a little jar
And stick it on your shelf
And now I am so empty
I have no more to give
You've taken everything I had
Except my will to live
And now I can't care anymore
I guess this means we're through
Turn my face away
Turn my thoughts from you
But I detect your familiar scent
And memories flood my mind
I'm wishing for the you I knew
Back when I was blind
But I can't care anymore
I guess this means it's true
I have to learn to let you go
Even though I still love you
'Cuz I can't care anymore
No, I can't care anymore
(Can't care)
Can't care anymore
(Can't)
