All I ever dreamt of finding
Before I figured out

And as I fall to my knees
I see it all go up in smoke
I was living a big charade
Thinking maybe I could change
Who I am

Well, now I know
I was only fooling myself

And I pray
That you're doing all right
And that you'll find one who
Truly deserves you

And I hope
That you won't close yourself off
To the love you so desire,
That you understand,
And that you forgive me
