Its wonderous what
a hug can do.
A hug can cheer you
when you're blue.
A hug can say,
"I love you so" or
"Gee, I hate to see you go"
A hug is "Welcome back again" or
"Great to see you.
Where've you been?"
A hug can soothe
a small child's pain
and bring a rainbow
After rain
The HUG!!!
There's no doubt about it
We scarcely can
survive without it
A hug delights
and warms
and charms
This must be why
God gave us arms.
The more you give,
the more you recieve.
So stretch those arms
without delay
and give someone
a HUG today.
Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy. I know that in this world in which we live, forces beyond our control keep us too busy to think about doing something just for ourselves. The truth is that this small gesture is more of a pick-me-up than all the yoga, or cups of coffee, or whatever other that you might use. And think of it as making someone elses day a bit brighter. So get out there and try it. Especially just before your spouse and children take off to begin their busy day. In this way you pass it on, and they will remember it always.
