Looking back at all the people that said "don't get married, your too young, it won't last."
I laughed in their faces- told them it would, just wait and see!
I was excited to get old with you and prove them wrong.
"Look, we made it, we beat the odds!"
But, they were right- not about me, I would have lasted.
But you didn't.
You walked out, you lived up to their expectations.
You couldn't take the pressure of standing out in the crowd, making it longer than most couples.
You baled out.
They were right, it didn't last.
