I feel for you with the problems you're having raising your daughter, it reminds me of the problems my mom had with my brothers - but they didn't run away as much, and alot of time has p ssed since then. My boyfriend's dad lives in Lodi, and I was there years ago for a tour of General Mills (do they still have a plant there?) - my dad worked for them in Palo Alto til they moved the headquarters to Minneapolis. I didn't realize Stockton ha so many problems, I've been through there a few times. Glad you liked the unicorn backgrounds, I'll check back to read the poetry you're going to have on it. BTW, where did you get the backgrounds for your bio page and Trini's pages? Hang in there. It's unny, just at lunch today a friend of mine was telling me about what they did when her daughter didn't come home when she said she was going to - one day she and her husband didn't come home from work, they stayed in a motel and told their other daughter here they were but not to tell her. The daughter was so worried she call her dad's work and the police and everywhere she could think of. When they came home she finally realized how they felt when they didn't know where she was. Sounds like that might no work for you, but...just a thought. Good luck and take care of yourself. |

I feel my angel's presence when I am silent and alone And I have come to realize that I am never on my own It brings to me such comfort my spirit is at peace In knowing that my angel's loving presence will not cease Whatever road I travel, the direction that I take I will not be alone, when I slumber, when I wake He hovers there above me every second of every day With his hand he gently pushes me to direct me along the way. Oh, it would be a miracle if I were allowed to see his face To gaze upon his beauty and feel the warmth of his embrace... But for now, I am content to simply know that he is there And feel his warmth envelope me as I go to God in prayer. I find such comfort knowing that he is there with every breath And still will be beside me, when at last I reach my death. When I hear his voice whisper in my ear so sweet and kind Well, I know that where I travel-he'll not be far behind.. Remember those words... and know that you are in my thoughts. :-) |

I will keep you and her in my prayers. I hope your family gets some counseling on how to handle her that helps you all. It is a very big problem today and I think TV as a lot to do with it and peer pressure. Just what I have seen working with the Mother & Son's group in my hometown trying to keep teens off the streets and out of gangs. I was a street person as a teenager because of things out of my control at home. I hope you daughter wakes up and see's things are better at home with loving Mother than out in the street. For me I did not have this choice, for her she does. |
