ad hoc alumnae association committee

Thank you to the following volunteers who have agreed to donate their time in the ways indicated:

SOCIAL/EVENT COORDINATORS
Erica Berg ('96) and Julie Hora ('96)
Erica and Julie have graciously offered to plan events and reunions for the group, including the much-anticipated 20th Reunion in 2000 or 2001.

ALUMNAE MUSIC COORDINATOR
Betsy Sabatini Coyne ('87)
Betsy, who was an Esteemed Director, will be coordinating music selections for reunion concerts. No more getting together and not knowing each others' songs! She's responsible for pulling together and sending us arrangements that are representative of all the groups of OOTB past; likewise, she'll help organize the reunion concerts. She may also be working with the current group to flesh out the OOTB arrangement library (if arrangements are missing, etc.).

FINANCIAL COORDINATOR
Joanne Marlin ('96)
Joanne, a Chicago stockbroker, will be managing the funds for the AA. She'll be mapping out a plan for alumnae dues and directing the financial efforts of the group. ***Please read a financial update from Joanne.***

MAIN ALUMNAE CONTACT
Kristin Celona Becker ('94)
Kristin is now serving as the main alum contact for anyone who has personal information (address, e-mail, etc.) that needs to be updated. You can reach her at 212-941-9712. (Emily, take a bow! Thanks very much for your help.) "The OOTB Address List" is now in Kristin's capable hands, and she'll be receiving help from....

COHORT REPRESENTATIVES
1982-84 reps:
Harriet Cann Connolly & Elisa Buono Glazer

1985-87 reps:
Betsy Sabatini Coyne & Carol Cracciolo Laub

1988-90 reps:
Jean Worthington Cross & Laura Barkman Smith

1991-93 reps:
Nancy Lengers Whearty & Debbie Wellner Heinrich

1994-97 reps:
Erica Berg & Joanne Marlin

1998-2000 reps:
NEED 2 VOLUNTEERS!!!
Please contact Angela Winter if you're interested in helping with this.

Basically, each duo is responsible for keeping in touch with their cohort of alums, as necessary, to keep their personal information updated. Next, they will send this information to Kristin, who's responsible for maintaining the master list. This spreads the responsibility and effort, plus it's more fun for people to be in touch with folks they sang with and already know. Please find your appropriate Representatives and keep them updated with your current address. . .we don’t want to lose you! Go by the year you "graduated" from OOTB, if it differs from your Duke grad date.

NEWSLETTER TEAM
Meghan O'Connell Mahoney ('90), Editor
Liz Ford ('91), Spotlight writer/editor
Meghan coordinates and creates each issue of the Circle; if anyone has any suggestions or ideas for future issues, please e-mail her at
momahoney@wellington.com. Liz has the enviable task of interviewing various alumnae for Spotlight columns.

DIRECTORS’ GUIDE & MUSIC EDUCATION GUIDE
Kim Lathrop Kredich ('89)
Kim has offered to research and create two group resource guides: one for Musical Directors and one for alums and/or current group members who are interested in pursuing a career in Music Education. For these projects, she'll be contacting those of you who served as musical directors as well as those of you who have gone into music education for your input and ideas.
