Kose Esprique Make-Up
from alt.fashion by karen

First, let me say that I'm not a fan of Kose. Far from it. In fact, if the SA is anything to go by, I wouldn't even bother going to the counter a second time but I think I may just have to. Today, I walked to the counter, with the intention of checking out the lip palettes (not out yet). I came upon their line called Esprique.

Excellent Face Color (blushes) I was attracted to one of the colours but was amazed by the texture. It's really creamy yet changes to a non-sticky powdery form the minute it touches my hand. I was so amazed by it that I kept on putting more colour onto whatever available space I have of my hands (and I guess this annoyed the SA).

Excellent Eye Color I really have too much makeup but the eyeshadow in BR330 (that stands for brown but it's really a gorgeous shimmery taupe) is awesome! It's cream type as well and it's so easy to apply. Yet it's not oily at all. The colour is so sheer and pretty that I knew I needed to have that one right away. And it was only US$11. Tacky packaging no doubt but for the price and quality, I'm not complaining. It's the best eyeshadow I've found since Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Eye Wash.

Water Veil Lastly, I played with the new product, which is the best of the lot. The feel and touch is totally like Water Canvas, just that Water Veil is something like a highlighter. Really sheer and pretty. They come in shades of pink, nude, gold and white with very obvious glitter. All of five colours. And the SA kept on closing the lid every time I finished playing with a colour. She explained that it would evaporate if she didn't do that. I really love it and I have all intention to go back and get this one, together with one of the blushes. As the brochure said, this one feels like popping jelly onto your face. It costs US$18 and I think it's definitely worth it.
