Chero's Tributes</b>
TRIBUTE

((Oh, my, WHAT do I want to say
here? My heart is breaking and the
tears won't stop.))
As I started
my page this morning, Feb.1,1998...
my thoughts were for
Dana(Wheels4Jesus).
I had talked with
her last night; she
ask me to do some more poems, 'I
enjoy them so much,' she said.
I worked all morning, kept watching ICQ
for her to come on, wanting to surprise her.
candle Dana won't be coming on...she passed
away in her sleep last night,1-31-98...I will
miss her terribly..I picked the name Tribute
this morning, but, as I thought about it;
I didn't feel it fit the page. I
was coming in to change the name-
when I received the news.

Now, it IS a tribute page..For
My Dear Friend, Dana.
I am not going to change a word of it
because it was for Dana I did it in
the first place...I WILL be adding to it
A Lot I want to say and show.
She was a super Christian Lady
and a part of me is missing.
She came to mean a lot.

Dana, you are out of your chair, walking,
running and with John, your husband which
you loved and missed so very much..
Last night, you told me how you missed
camping and being free..Now, YOU ARE....
GOD BLESS

This I am adding as a dedication to my
Special Friend Dana

Sometimes we are lucky enough
to meet a person
who stands out
among all other people
as being extremely special
who knows what we
are thinking about
who is happy for us at all times
who is always there to talk to us
who cares about us selflessly
who is always truthful with us
Sometimes we are lucky enough
to meet someone who is
EXTREMELY WONDERFUL
For me
that person
is YOU
My Dear Friend.
Dana,,I miss you...LOL(Lots of Love)

The last thing Dana said to me last night was
'Chero, I feel like I could fly...high!'
Well,,she is flying as high as you can get.
Isn't she?

1Peter 1:6-7
In this you greatly rejoice,
though now for a little while
you may have had to suffer grief
in all kinds of trials.
These have come so that your
faith-of greater worth than
gold, which perishes even though
refined by fire-may be proved
genuine and may result in praise,
glory and honor when JESUS
CHRIST is revealed.

This is one of many
favorite scriptures Dana
loved. She made sure her friend Carol
memorized it...Dana was a wonderful
lady, teacher and Christian.

A CREED TO LIVE BY

Don't undermine your worth
by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different
that each of us is special.
Don't set your goals by what
other people deem important.
Only you know what is best for you.
Don't take for granted the things
closest to your heart.
Cling to them as you would your life,
for without them life is meaningless.
Don't let your life slip through your fingers
by living in the past, or for the future.
By living your life one day at a time,
you live all the days of your life.
Don't give up when you still have
something to give.
Nothing is really over
until the moment you stop trying.
Don't be afraid to admit that
you are less than perfect.
It is this fragile thread
that binds us to each other.

Don't be afraid to encounter risks.
It is by taking chances that
we learn how to be brave.
Don't shut love out of your life
by saying it's impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love
is to GIVE love;
the fastest way to lose love
is to hold it too tightly;
and the best way to keep love
is to give it wings.
Don't dismiss your dreams.
To be without dreams is to be without hope;
to be without hope is to be without purpose.
Don't run through life so fast
that you forget not only where you've been
but also where you're going.
Life is not a race,
but a journey to be savored
each step of the way.

small cross Did you know worry is a sin??
WORRY IS DISTRUST IN THE
TRUTHFULNESS OF GOD.

It's not something in your genes, like your
mother's eyes or your grandmother's nose. No,
FAITH is something
you've got to work out for yourself.
And it doesn't happen in the good times.
Your parents forged their faith, one failure
at a time.

small cross Life has loveliness to sell,
All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff.
Soaring fire that sways and sings,
And children's faces looking up
Holding wonder like a cup.

Life has lovliness to sell,
Music like a curve of gold,
Scent of pine trees in the rain,
Eyes that love you, arms that hold,
And for your spirit's still delight,
Holy thoughts that star the night.

Spend all you have for loveliness,
Buy it and never count the cost;
For one white singing hour of peace
Count many a year of strife well lost,
And for a breath of ecstasy
Give all you have been, or could be.

It is Tuesday, Feb.3rd; I haven't
been able to read what I wrote for
Dana before her death--
until today. The
words and music were chosen very carefully
because I treasured Dana as a friend.
As I read them
((now knowing she had passed on as I
wrote them.))I wonder!! Do you think
she might have been helping me?? ;-)
