Race The Wind

Greetings and welcome, dear wanderer, to my humble little site. Allow me to introduce myself. I am called Angel and I am honored that you have stopped by to visit me. I hope that you will accompany me in a tour of my home. I have many things to show you, and I do hope you come back at a future time, to gaze upon any new things I add to it. Race The Wind is a new venture for me. My love of the literary can prove somewhat overwhelming at times, but it is a compulsion from which I cannot hide. I had decided at the tender age of 9 to become a writer when I grew up, and though that dream never came to fruition, it has not stopped me from writing anyways. I love the look of a clean, unblemished piece of paper, the endless possibilities than beckon me from it's surface. I love to fill it full with my large, sweeping letters. I never write upon the back of the page, preferring instead to cast my eyes hungrily upon another unmarred piece. I always write my poems upon paper before transferring them to the computer. When the muse visits me, it is much easier to turn to a fresh piece of paper than to navigate the entering of this sometimes cumbersome technology. Besides, who wants to extricate themselves from the warm confines of a snuggly bed at the wee hours of the night to pound away at the keys, when there is a journal and a pen on the night stand? At any rate, welcome, new friend. Take my hand and let us explore the corners of my home.
