The Path Home

There comes a time
In every person's life
To take the path
Least tread upon

To brave the unknown
To face our fears
To realize that this path
Really isn't so frightening.

Now, you face this path
Feelings scared and alone
Taking that first step
Will be the hardest thing
You've ever done.

You will brave the unknown
You will face your fears
And, in the end, you will find
You have come home.
