Exhibitionist

Level= Intermediate

Also known as a "Flasher", this design was influenced by the human figure designs of Eric Kenneway. The action is not so smooth and may need a little breaking in. You may be tempted to add a message inside the man, to be revealed when he flashes.

Start with a square sheet. Make a short valley fold along the bottom right side
Valley fold by bringing the left corner to the crease you made in step 1
Open up
Repeat with the right flap
Bring the flaps and valley fold to the crease formed in step 3 and 4 for each sides. Then bring the folded flaps to the center
Valley fold and bring down the top in such a way that your model is halved
Fold up the flap to approximately 1/5 of its length
Open up your model
Mountain fold, then valley fold the top section as shown. Then valley fold twice both corners
Sink both sides
Turn back two corners to suggest a coat collar. Flatten the feet by making a mountain fold
Form the head by bring the tip down and valley folding the sides
Now hold the head and feet: pull gently to make the man "flash"!
