Four Women at Christmas, 1983

Each year since my brother Dick and Peggy were married in 1967, visiting them at Christmas has been a tradition. When Rich, Mike and Dorothy were young -- indeed until the last of them married and left home -- baking snickadoodles (cookies) was a cherished annual event.

This picture was taken in Dick and Peggy's living room where the Christmas trimming are all around.

We are the four immediate VanderPutten women. I am on the left. Next to me is my sister Jean.  In the aqua top is my brother John's wife Pat. My brother Dick's wife Peggy is in the festive red and white top.
