A Birthday with Nancy Jane - 1999

On Friday, June 4, Brian and I went to Daytona Beach to spend my birthday at the home of my long time friend, Nancy Jane Stubbs.

Nancy Jane wined, dined, entertained and generally feted us (and made me get up before dawn and walk 9 miles on the beach every morning).

We went to a minor league baseball game, attended an outdoor jazz concert, had drinks on a pier above the ocean and also in a down home seafood place on the Inland Waterway, and we loved every minute of it.

And -- Nancy Jane taught Brian to play dominos -- something he won't let her forget!

On Saturday evening, Nancy Jane, Brian and I went to a 'Cubbies' twi-night double header. Our team won the 1st but lost the 2nd game to the Vero Beach Dodgers.
