Once Upon a Time I Was a Debate Champion

Debate Winners

       I (2nd on left) took 2nd place overall. On my right is the 1st place winner, Robert Wright. To my left is the 3rd place winner.

My team from Sacred Heart Academy took second place, beating out 27 other teams from the Nassau County Interscholastic Debated Association and the Catholic Forensic Leagure of Rockville Center.

The trophy in my hand went into the showcase at Sacred Heart Academy.

Catholic high schools won 33 of the top 36 places throughout the state. Extempor was my field. Shown with me (left) are Suzanne Guides, Ann Garagan, Nora McGarville and Nancy Lamb.
