Co-Founded NSF's Art of Science Project (1998). The Art of Science Project was conceived and implemented by a cross-Directorate committee of NSF staff. Its purpose is to bring to NSF original works of art that visually explore the connections between artistic and scientific expression. Committee members on a volunteer basis have arranged a series of exhibits with advice from the Arlington County Cultural Affairs Division.

The Lauren, A Condominium. Since 1979, I have served on at least a dozen Lauren Boards of Directors as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and as chair of various committees, including importantly the Lauren Security Committee and Lauren Personnel Committee. (Currently President, 2001-2002) The Lauren is a $25 million full service, downtown condominium with staff of 10 and an $800,000 annual budget.
