The TCU Horned Frogs went on to rout rival University of Texas at Austin by a score of 77 to 36. The magnitude of the margin of victory, according to a world roundup of the usual reliable sources, was largely due to the home team crowd rousing led by Stephanie, the SuperFrog.

Stephanie's grandmother Doris Vander Putten and grandfather Robert "Bobby" Vander Putten drove from Albuquerque. 

 

Granddad Cozies Up With SuperFrog

 

Stephanie's granddad and grandmother were in town to attend a Christmas choral performance by the Tarrant Lutheran Choral in which Stephanie's Aunt Martha had a solo.
