SUNBURST SALAD
Serves 6 to 8
3/4 Cup sugar 1/2 cup pineapple liquid 1/4 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin 1 cup cold water 1 cup drained crushed pineapple 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Dissolve sugar in pineapple liquid over low heat. Soften gelatin in water. Add to sugar mixture. Chill until partially set.
Add pineapple and cheese. fold in whipped cream. Pour into ring mold. Chill until firm.
