When my
dad found a place of his own, he wanted to
take Benny and
Jet with him, away from the boys. But soon
after moving in, he
surprised us with two new cats who used to be
our landlord's.
The cats' names are Peaches and Mango.
I
remember going
over the landlord's house(who is also my dad's
friend) and
seeing Peaches as a skinny little kitten. Now
she's all grown up
and fat! She was scared for the first few days
and spent a lot
of time under my dad's bed. Mango, on the
other hand, was
more than friendly and wanted attention all
day long.
I later
found out that Peaches didn't like to be
touched very much
and isn't afraid to bite. It's kind of a shame
because she's so
soft. It's been a few years and we still have
Peaches and
Mango and love them immensely.
