What is a Techno-Pagan?

There are many explainations of what a "techno-pagan" is. To me, this kind of sums it up:

A "Pagan" is an individual who claims an eath-based religion. These include Wicca, Druidism, etc. and others involving nature worship. Some Pagans like not to use technology, sometimes to the extent of the Amish. Therefore, I consider a Techno-Pagan to be a Pagan who is really into technology and accepts it. There are also some Pagans who have online covens or groups, or practice online rituals. This is usually the description of a Techno-Pagan. Other terms for "Techno-Pagan" include "Techno-Witch," "Cyber-Witch," and "Cyber-Pagan."

What is Witchcraft?

Over the centuries, the practice of Witchcraft has gotten a bad rap. Many people today have a hard time realizing that the first religious people were in fact Witches, not to mention that they descended from such horrible creatures. The fact of the matter is, people had been living and practicing Witchcraft since the beginning of time until it was a crime to do so, and even then people did it anyway. The basic Pagan/Wiccan belief structure varies from tradition to tradition(also called trads). In the modern New Age Wiccan sense, the belief system usually goes like this:

There's an energy source called "The All." This can also be called "The Source," "The Force," etc. From there, Pagans separate the male and female aspects, much like a yin-yang symbol. The feminine archetept is usually called the Lady or Mother, while the male is called the Lord, the Consort, or Father. He's also called Green Man. Together, male and female are the essence of life. Branching down from them are the deities. Different deities are used, once again, depending upon trad. These are called Pantheons. For example, you've probably read those Greek myths in school. The Greek gods and goddesses make up one tradition. There are tons more originating from everywhere on Earth. The funny, and amazing, thing is the fact that almost every tradition, from ancient Mexico to ancient Greece, share the same thoughts on the representations. Sometimes deities even have the same features. The same goes for demons, like vampires and incubi. Anyway(we're wondering off track), that's what makes up the Wiccan belief structure...

Magick, however you'd like to spell it, also has a significant place in the Wiccan/Pagan belief structure. This is where the term "Witchcraft" is used. Depending on your trad, Witchcraft is usually good. However, there are curses and hexes in some trads, and most definitely when dealing with the Church of Satan. Satanists(in some cases) do not worship Satan. There god is Bacchus, who is where the Cristians came up with the idea pegging our God as the devil. Anyway, Satanists work revenge magick when they feel that justice has not been done. On the other hand, there are some people who know nothing of Paganism or Wicca and cast evil spells without knowing the dire consequences. I incorporate something called Karma into my lifestyle. This is the theory that whatever you dish out comes back to you in an equal measure. There's another theory of dishing out called the threefold rule. It basically states that whoever begiles or uses their powers for evil, gets it back threefold. I do not agree with this principle because it gives a harsher punishement than the original deed committed, but that's just me.

I think that's about it. Sorry if I talked your ear off!! If you have any questions, email me.
