DUCK RATTLE:
Using worsted weight yarn(YELLOW) and a G hook.

Body:
Rnd1: ch 2, 6sc in first ch (6sc).
Rnd 2: 2sc in each sc around(12 sc).
Rnd 3: *sc in next sc 2 sc in next sc* around(18sc).
Rnds 4-7: sc in each sc around.
Rnd8: dec evenly by 6 sc(12 sc).
Place 4-5 kernels of popcorn in a small plastic egg(or use a plastic container
from a vending machine). Stuff body a
bit with stuffing and place "rattler" inside.
Rnd 9: dec by 6 evenly(6sc).slip stitch in every other sc around & finish off.
Wings:
Rnd1: ch2 6sc in first ch.
Rnd2: 2sc in each sc around(12).
Rnd3: sc around.
Rnd4&5 dec by half evenly around. finish off. sew to sides of body.
Head:
Rnd1 :ch2 6sc in first ch.
Rnd2: 2sc in each sc around.
Rnd3: sc around.
Rnd4:* skip next sc sc in next sc* 3 times ,sc in next 6 sc.
Rnd5&6:sc around, leaving legnth for sewing finish off. stuff
& sew to body at front and between wings. Shaping may be necessary.
Paint on "bill" and eyes.
