Anticipation

Sitting here and wondering,
What tomorrow may bring,
I sit here and I think of you,
and I feel my heart sing

I sit here with labored breath,
and anticipation,
of seeing your handsome face,
looking into your eyes....

The eyes I dream of,
late at night,
The eyes I see,
that chase away any fright.

Fright of feeling love again,
Fright of being hurt
all the feeling of dispair,
disappeared into the air...

Hearing your voice,
the words of your choice
my tummy starts to flutter,
and then I melt like butter.

All of my dreams,
All of my hopes,
You have given
Them reason to shine.

Now I must sit
and now I must wait,
To see if you
Will stay mine....
