Last summer I completed Cadet Basic Training at the United States Military Academy. I could have thought of better ways to spend my hot humid summer days, but the training was fun at times and I got to do a lot of neat things. Some of the things I did was throw a live hand grenade, complete a 15 mile road march with a full load, go through a couple confidence obstacle courses, qualify on the M-16A2 semi-automatic machine gun, climbed and rappelled a 75 foot cliff, went in a gas chamber, and learn some close quarters combat. I enjoyed the summer and liked it even more when it was over. Here are some snap shots of that memorable summer.

Here are some snapshosts that are not me, but I did the stuff they are doing. If you want to read more about CBT '98 and see some more pictures, go to the Cadet Basic Training page- it has some cool information.
