Friends are Forever
My childhood friends Lilian, Marina (standing), Åsa (with Lilian’s babygirl Elin in her lap) and Malin (with a baby in her stomach) have dressed me, the bride to be, up for a last night on town as a single woman on the 25th of December 1998.
My sweet Indian "sweat sisters", Haje, Kirsi (with little Emelie still in her stomach), Katja and Camilla, are posing with me at our wedding reception at the Sea Bird Restaurant, Replot on the 31st of December 1998. It is a tradition to take a photo like this at a wedding of a "sweat sister".
We became famous in West Bengal, India in 1995, for our never-ending singing. They even asked us to perform at the annual party at the Department of Sociology at Kalyani University. From the left: Katja, myself, Haje, Camilla, and Kirsi.
