WIZARDS
Dedicated to all the wizards I have met
And to the ones I haven't.
When I was a little girl
I imagined that wizards
Were creatures of sorcery
Not men of magic.
Thank goodness I have grown . . .
Wizards are a unique group
But that goes without saying (or writing)
They have a "developed" sense of humor
Depending if you prefer "warped" or "crazed"
My unknowing always leads to curiosity . . .
Wizards are men of limitless strength
Always working with the elements of nature
Giving and taking; loving and learning; laughing and hurting
All of this to "become as one".
My discoveries have increased my knowledge . . .
Wizards are full of wisdom
Even if they can't remember their own names
Their "resources" can be a bit canny
But what can one do with a professional "smartass". (brains, too!)
They also have bared the so-feared "nakedness" of love . . .
Wizards are intense loves
Unconditionally, surrendering pieces of their hearts
Believing "love conquers all"
And wanting the outcome to be certain.
My teachers have opened my eyes . . .
Wizards are men from "anywhere"
Their origins are extensive, but sound
And yet their cause is always changing
Because each day holds a "new beginning".
Look at the beauty they have "produced".
