Actress Will Try Comeback
HOLLYWOOD, July 19 (I.N.S.)
Frances Farmer, the one-time Hollywood Cinderella girl, will make a screen comeback within the next three or four months, her agents declared.
Completely recovered from a nervous breakdown which forced her out of motion pictures nearly two years ago, the blonde actress was described as being "her old self again anxious to get back to work."
Tom Somlyo, who represents Miss Farmer for the Frank W. Vincent Agency, told International News Service that "several" film producers have asked for her services when she returns to Hollywood. Among these was on offer to star the former glamour girl in a new color film, "Enchanted Forest."
"Miss Farmer will spend a few months at an uncles ranch near Reno," Somlyo said, "and will come on to Hollywood from there."
The actress was committed last March to Western State Hospital, near her home at Seattle. The former University of Washington coed was released three weeks ago after physicians pronounced a complete recovery and declared she would not have a relapse.
